1. Introduction

By accessing or using PicTextRemover ("Service") at pictextremover.com, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them before using the Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Service Description

PicTextRemover is an online AI text remover. The Service allows you to upload JPG, PNG, or WebP images, optionally brush over text areas with a mask, and request AI image editing to remove text from image files. You may also skip masking and ask the Service to remove text across the full image.

Some features may be available without signing in. Other features may require an account, credits, subscription, or payment. Provider availability, processing time, output behavior, and feature limits may change over time.

3. Accounts

• You must provide accurate information when creating or using an account.
• You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in access secure.
• You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.
• We may limit, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or abuse the Service.

4. Credits, Billing, and Cancellation

• Anonymous users may receive one free text removal, subject to abuse prevention limits.
• Logged-in users may receive additional welcome credits after sign-in.
• Successful AI text removal jobs consume credits according to the current pricing shown on the pricing page or at checkout.
• Credit packs, subscriptions, and other paid features are processed by authorized payment providers.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.
• Pricing, credit costs, plan benefits, expiration rules, and cancellation options are shown on the pricing page or at checkout and may change over time.

5. Failed Jobs and Refunds

• If an image text removal job fails before completion, frozen credits should be released or refunded to your account balance.
• Credits consumed by successful jobs are generally non-refundable.
• Purchases of digital credits and subscriptions are generally non-refundable unless required by law.
• Billing issues and refund requests are reviewed case by case and may depend on payment processor rules.

6. Your Images and Rights

• You retain ownership of images you upload and results generated for you.
• You grant us a limited license to host, process, transmit, and store your images only as needed to provide the Service, operate security systems, and comply with law.
• You are responsible for making sure you have the legal right to upload, edit, download, and use each image.
• You are responsible for your use of generated results, including commercial use, publication, or redistribution.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Upload or edit images you do not have the right to use.
• Remove copyright notices, creator attribution, logos, watermarks, or rights information unless you own the content or have permission.
• Create, edit, or distribute illegal, harmful, abusive, deceptive, defamatory, hateful, or exploitative content.
• Violate privacy, publicity, intellectual property, or other rights of any person or organization.
• Upload, edit, request, or attempt to create NSFW, sexually explicit, nude, semi-nude, erotic, sexually suggestive, or pornographic content.
• Process images involving minors in sexual, suggestive, exploitative, or otherwise inappropriate contexts.
• Process images involving child sexual abuse, sexual exploitation, non-consensual intimate imagery, or other illegal material.
• Bypass free usage limits, abuse anonymous trials, automate uploads at scale, scrape the Service, or interfere with our systems.
• Bypass, disable, evade, or mislead content safety filters or moderation systems.
• Reverse engineer, copy, resell, or repackage the Service as a competing automated API without written permission.

We may use automated content review on uploaded images before processing. Images that appear to violate these Terms may be blocked before a generation task is created, and repeated or severe violations may result in account limits, suspension, or termination.

8. AI Output Disclaimer

• AI results can vary by image quality, background complexity, mask accuracy, resolution, and provider behavior.
• We do not guarantee that every result will perfectly remove text or preserve every background detail.
• Complex textures, faces, small text, dense patterns, and low-resolution uploads may require another attempt or a tighter mask.
• Processing times are estimates and may change based on provider availability and demand.

9. Privacy and Deletion

Uploaded images and generated results are handled according to our Privacy Policy. Results are deleted by default after 7 days, and logged-in users can delete creations earlier in My Creations when deletion controls are available.

10. Service Availability

We try to keep the Service reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, limit, or discontinue any part of the Service, including free usage, credit costs, supported file types, resolutions, providers, retention periods, pricing, and feature availability.

11. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, PicTextRemover and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, business interruption, or loss of goodwill.

12. Termination

• You may stop using the Service at any time.
• We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create risk, or abuse the Service.
• After termination, some records may be retained for legal, accounting, security, or dispute-resolution purposes.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated Terms will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service means you accept the updated Terms.
